Experiments:

Trips 

 A trip is a simple way to help document activity.  The set up is quite easy.  You place a trigger object on a sheet of paper.  You then trace the outline of the object and leave the object in the tracing.  Take a photo or two of the trip when finished setting up.  The goal is to see if the object is moved from the outline.  Take photos at the end to compare.  Easy Peasy!

Black lights

 Black lights can be used on an investigation for multiple tasks.  Number one, if you have shoddy IR lighting, a black light will brighten up the cameras view if switched to nightshot.  It also adds another viewing point as an illuminating factor.  In a room with black light, brighter colors will stand out more, giving some credence to the thought of a mist or partial apparition standing out more.

Recordings (Electronica & Acoustica) 

 When we speak during an EVP session, we are speaking in an acoustic soundwave and hoping someone will respond via acoustics or electronically recorded.  Another option would be to record the acoustic session, then play back that recording.  While the playback is happening, be recording with yet another device.  The voice coming from the playback is actually playing along another frequency than what your normal speaking voice does.  This may enhance your chances of establishing some type of contact.

Phoning the Dead 

 An experiement we have tried and are continuing is what we call phoning the dead.  Its a different EVP session style that predicates itself from the common claim of hearing voices over the telephone.  At times on an investigation, we will have a member sit in a room alone and in front of a camera.  They will set up an audio recorder and bring in a cell phone.  Another member will call them, be put on speaker phone, and proceed with an EVP session over the phone.  The phone is set close to the recorder for better audio.         

            This allows us to try communicating on yet another frequency.  So far we have had mixed results but this experiment is far from over.  Give it a try. Who knows who will answer.

Magnetism

In a field where energy is prevalent, why would we not use magnetics?  Although we are starting to test this experiment, the thought that it might make moving objects seem easier for spirits is an interesting one.  As I said, we are just starting this and will hopefully be able to bring back some positive information.

20/20

It is said that when a spirit or entity speaks to us, it is usually at a frequency in which we do not hear.  What we have  done is recorded a series of 20 questions and adjusted the sound frequency to 20 hz.  We then play those questions over a set of speakers with a recorder, recording externally.  No one is in the room during the session to make certain we do not contaminate the recording.  The thought to this is an attempt to communicate at their frequency or level of hearing.  Since starting this, we have had mixed results.
